Manufacturer programme

A TECHNOLOGY-DRIVEN DISTRIBUTION PARTNER THAT MAKES NIGERIA FEEL LIKE YOUR OWN BACKYARD.

Cross-border manufacturers spend serious money at PLMA, ProWein, Anuga and Gulfood chasing Nigerian buyers, then lose all visibility the moment goods leave the port. Daxgov is a technology-driven, vertically integrated distribution partner — built on integrity and trust — that operates as an extension of your own company, so working with Nigeria starts to feel like being in Nigeria.

What you get

Full visibility after the goods ship

No more guessing what happened to a container after it leaves your factory. Every shipment, clearance and store listing is logged and visible in your Manufacturer Hub.

A partner you can actually trust

Daxgov runs on integrity: evidence-based tracking instead of promises, so you always know where your brand and your money stand in Nigeria.

Trade-show ROI you can measure

Meeting buyers at PLMA, ProWein, Anuga or Gulfood is only the start. Daxgov converts that interest into tracked purchase orders, shipments and reorders — not a folder of business cards.

Vertically integrated, technology-driven distribution

One partner covering import, warehousing, merchandising and retail through Daxgov Mart and partner stores, reported through a single dashboard.

The real problems we solve

Trade shows without measurable return

PLMA, ProWein, Anuga, Gulfood — the leads are real, but converting a stand conversation into an actual Nigerian order is where most manufacturers stall. Daxgov turns that interest into structured tenders, quotes and target shipments you can track to completion.

No visibility after goods leave for Nigeria

Once a container leaves, most manufacturers hear nothing until a reorder or a complaint. Daxgov's brand journey shows samples received, orders raised, shipments landed and stores listed — confirmed by real activity in our system, not a partner's word.

Finding a distribution partner you can trust

Nigerian import and distribution can feel opaque from abroad. Daxgov is technology-driven and vertically integrated, built on integrity and trust, and operates as an extension of your own company — so it feels like you are in Nigeria yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Guide for manufacturers

How European manufacturers choose an importer and distribution partner in Nigeria

Nigeria is a large, fast-moving consumer market, but entering it badly is expensive: stock sits at the port, labels fail inspection, or a promising contact goes quiet after a trade fair. This guide sets out what European manufacturers should check before appointing a partner, and how Daxgov is set up as that partner.

What to check before appointing anyone

Ask for evidence, not assurances:

  • Registered company, bank account and named accountable owner
  • Real distribution reach — named retailers and routes, not a claimed national coverage
  • Warehousing and stock handling you can actually see
  • Ability to fund stock, or a structured credit facility behind their orders
  • Willingness to report sell-through, not just place orders

Product registration, labelling and NAFDAC

Consumable and personal-care goods must be registered with NAFDAC before they can be sold legally in Nigeria, and labelling must match the registration. Registration sits with a Nigerian entity, so your partner's ability to hold and manage it matters as much as their selling ability. Plan this before the first container, not after it lands.

Import licences, duties and clearing

Your partner needs to import in their own name, clear goods at the port and handle duties and documentation. Ask who does the clearing, how long it typically takes, and who carries the cost when a shipment is held. Clearing delays, not selling, are what usually damage a first shipment's margin.

Pricing, payment terms and currency

Agree the currency, the exchange-rate basis and who carries the currency risk in writing. Most European manufacturers price in EUR while the market sells in NGN, so a fixed landed-cost model and an agreed price list protect both sides when the rate moves.

Visibility after the shipment leaves

The common failure after a trade fair is silence: goods ship, and the manufacturer never learns what sold, at what price, or in which shops. Insist on structured reporting — stock position, sales and shipment status — rather than occasional messages.

How Daxgov is set up for manufacturers

Daxgov imports, registers, warehouses and distributes in Nigeria, and gives each manufacturer its own portal: your products, your documents, your shipments and your performance reports. You see your own data — never another manufacturer's — and your onboarding shows exactly which documents are needed at each step.

Common questions

Do you buy the stock or sell on consignment?
Terms are agreed per manufacturer and confirmed in writing before shipment, including pricing basis, payment terms and who carries which cost.
Who handles NAFDAC registration?
Registration must sit with a Nigerian entity. Daxgov manages the process and the required documents with you, and your portal shows the status of each product.
Will we see what actually sells?
Yes. Your portal and your recurring performance reports show your own products, shipments and sales data — no other manufacturer's figures are visible to you, and yours are not visible to them.
We met your team at a trade fair. What happens next?
Register as a manufacturer, or use the invitation link your Daxgov contact sends you. Onboarding collects your company details, product list and documents in one place so quotes and first shipment planning can start.

Ready when you are.

Registration takes minutes. Verification requirements are shown as you go, so you always know what is needed next.
